Dad's Family and Growing up near Bethesda in Reach Township

Dad was blessed to be born into the family of Wilfred and Gladys Evans.  He had three sisters, Mildred who died 7 January 2010, Doris (Allan) and Doreen (Tom, deceased) and three brothers, Ross (Barb), Floyd (Grace) and David (Shirley).  Doris, Doreen and David were triplets which was something of a novelty at that time.  


The family resided Reach Township between the 8th and 9th concession on the west side of Marsh Hill road.  The small community of Bethesda was were they went to school and church in the early years.

Later as Bethesda lost its place in history, the family turned to Uxbridge for church, school and local amusements.
